Despite the sweltering heat, I was determined to bake my husband a cake for his birthday today.
So here it is, black forest brownie cake; recipe, compliments of Karen Martini.
This is one of the easiest recipes I've used in a long time. We are yet to taste test it but as I'm a chocoholic, I'm sure the amount of chocolate used both in the batter and the ganache will guarantee a luscious cake.
I literally slaved over a hot stove to create this masterpiece, perspiration running down my back in temperature in the mid thirties.
